The RO / CDI System system combined a RO unit and a CDI unit on a single enclosure to save floor space and simplify control and operation.

Reverse Osmosis is a pressure driven process utilizing a semi-permeable membrane to separate and reject over 97% of the feed water minerals, over 90% of Total Oxidizable Organics (TOC), 99% of particulate matters and bacteria.

CDI Process uses a revolutionary concept to produce high quality deionized water. In the CDI process, ions are removed from water by a unique combination of ion exchange resins, ion exchange membranes, and a DC electric field. This unique system has many advantages over conventional desalting techniques. It is continuous and chemical free. In addition, it consume only a minimal amount of electricity, and therefore, can be described as a clean and green process as opposed to resin based process.

With the recent advance in the CDI technology and the maturity of the RO membrane application, the combination of these two processes has made the production of high purity water much easier and efficient than a couple of years before,
