deionized water. In the CDI process, ions are removed
from water by a unique combination of ion exchange
resins, ion exchange membranes, and a DC electric
field. This unique system has many advantages over
conventional desalting techniques. It is continuous
and chemical free. In addition, it consume only a

be described as a clean and green process as opposed
to resin based process.
