| Mixed-Bed
Deionization System :
 |
For applications
that requires higher water quality, Mixed Bed Deionization
System is often placed downstream of RO or Two Bed DI
System to enhance water quality. Regenerable Mixed Bed
DI System produces water quality of up to 15 –16 Mohm-cm.
Capital cost
of a Mixed Bed DI System is much higher than a Two
Bed DI System of similar flow capacity. And regeneration
of the resins after exhaustion is more complicated.
|
 |
Benefits
:
- Mixed Bed DI System contains intimately mixed cation
and anion resins in one single column. Water fed from
top of the column will be stripped of almost all cations
and anions before exiting the column. The intimately
mixed cation and anion resins is analogue to infinite
cation and anion resin beds in series, such that water
of higher quality can be produced.
Standard
Features :
- Rubber lined SS41 carbon steel tank
- Pressure tested to 100 psi
- PVC SCH 80 face piping and valves
- Machined PVC distributors/ SS316 distributor
- Pneumatic Control Valves
- Inert resin layer to facilitate resins separation
- Feed water inlet rotameter
- Regeneration flow rotameters
- Compressed air pressure regulator and filter
- Compressed air rotameter
- Inlet and Outlet pressure gauges and sampling port
- PVC eductors for regenerants introduction
- Sampling ports for acid and caustic concentration
- Sampling cylinders for non-hazardous sampling
- Programmable Logic Controller
- Control panel for electrical and solenoid valves
- Indicator lights to show each regeneration step
Optional
Features :
- Resistivity monitor (Optional)
- Electronic flow meter (Optional)
- Rinsing pump (Optional)
- Ambersep resins systems improve the backwash separation
of cation exchange resin from the anion exchange resins,
minimizing cross-contamination and providing a more
efficient, more reliable regeneration. This allows for
more reliable production of the highest quality water.
